Join us for a hands-on crafting session where you'll build a DIY Cafe Book Nook! A tiny diorama designed to sit perfectly between the books on your shelf. But this isn't just any coffee shop. Once the walls are up and the "espresso machine" is in place, you'll populate your cafe with a cast of friendly miniature creatures.

Discover a world full of life right beneath our feet!
Participants will learn about the many animals that make their homes underground and the unique adaptations that allow them to thrive. There will be taxidermy specimens, an activity, and a special guest appearance from one of our ambassador animals. This program is designed for a family audience.

When your gingerbread house falls, just add a dinosaur. Using only the materials supplied create a festive gingerbread house (with DINOSAURS.) Be prepared for laughter and mess as we compete for the most creative destruction.

Our naturalists will take participants on a journey through Michigan’s past to learn about the state’s geology. This is an interactive program where participants will have the chance to study rocks and fossils up close. This program is designed for a family audience.
