A BRIEF HISTORY...
The St. Clair County Library System began in 1917 when the Port Huron Public Library offered the first county library service in the State of Michigan.
This 29,765-square-foot, three-story branch is located on the government campus in Port Huron, across the street from the St. Clair County District Court.
Local history and genealogy collections are housed in the basement level, adult and teen services on the first floor, and children's services and the meeting room on the second floor. Elevator access is available upon request.

FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY:
The Friends of the St. Clair County Library support the branch through regular book sales and fundraising events throughout the year. The group is entirely volunteer driven and always accepting new members.
