Colonial Chocolate Making and History
Chocolate was all the rage in Colonial America. But America’s favorite guilty pleasure was a little different in Colonial America than it is today. Almont Museum’s own Michael Lester aka Coca the Chocolatier will be on hand to not only give a history lesson on the importance of chocolate in American history, but will go over different chocolate making techniques. Patrons will also get free samples in the manner it would have been made 250 years ago.
This program is located at 200 Grand River Ave at the Don Dodge Auditorium. This is the building directly south across the street from the Main Library.
