Astonishing India: A Trip to Remember with Mariya Fogarasi

India is a fascinating travel destination brimming with culture, food, history, archeology, tradition and more. As the world's most populous country, the sights, sounds and colors lend an intriguing aura.

Mariya's travels to India featured two distinct and completely separate areas: the "Golden Triangle" of Delhi, Jaipur and Agra, site of the Taj Mahal, built over 22 years by a Mughal emperor to honor his favorite wife and widely recognized as a monument of love.

She then explored the Malabar coast (modern-day Kerala), known as the "spice garden of India" - the primary, ancient center for trading black pepper, cardamom, and cinnamon to the Middle East, Rome, and eventually Europe.
